Dana became our agent somewhat by accident as her associate, who was our original agent, was out of town for some time, and she filled in while he was gone. We liked Dana so much that we requested she become our agent full-time. Dana was wonderful about working around our schedule. Both of us have very busy jobs and we were only able to look at houses on weeknights or during the weekend. Dana was great about making herself available during these periods and lining up as many visits as she could in one day. She also made the appointments so that we had a minimal amount of driving between visits and weren't crisscrossing all over the city. I believe in one 2-hour period we were able to see about 8 homes. She was also very organized and provided us with the information we needed about each house, including a report on schools, parks and stores in the area. She was very patient with us as we were being very picky and taking our time with finding just the right home for us. In the end, we found a great house that had everything we wanted. Dana did a fantastic job negotiating with our seller and she was able to get them to a price that we liked. In the end, Dana was thoroughly professional and we would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone considering buying or selling their home.

Working with Dana to purchase my first home was nearly effortless on my part. Prior to getting started all that I heard was how stressful it was to buy a home. While working with Dana I kept waiting for things to get stressful but they never did! I knew very little about the process of looking for a home or what types of questions to ask sellers. Dana took the lead and made me very comfortable in every showing. Little details that were important to me became very important to her and she wouldn't let me settle for something that was not exactly what I wanted. Dana's character was never in question. The integrity she showed while working with me was nothing less than impressive. I was willing to overpay for a property because I really loved it but Dana, thinking not of her payment or time, would not let me make that choice. We kept looking and I ended up finding a place even more perfect for me. In the end Dana worked beautifully with the seller's agent to work out a price that was both reasonable and affordable for me: far less than what the property was listed for. And I truly love my new home. I would recommend Dana to my closest friends and family. She was incredibly patient, helpful, and fun to work with. I never once questioned her competency or her character. I feel so lucky to have been able to work with Dana!

It is our pleasure to write this letter for Dana Dinello. When we began the home buying process, we had no idea where to begin as first time homebuyers. Dana made sure that we understood every step that came with home buying and made us feel extremely comfortable as first time buyers. After talking to Dana about what we wanted, she took us out to look at condos and we found ours on our first day out. Dana had found us something that had everything that we wanted and was also in our price range. We took another week to look at a few more condos to make sure this was the one for us, and then put an offer in within a week of our first outing. Dana was always very flexible with times that fit into both of our schedules, which was difficult with us living an hour apart. She answered all of our questions, and would not let us buy something that wasn't priced right or wasn't a good fit for us. Dana did a great job of negotiating a price that was right in our price range, and getting us into the place we are now. We love our new condo and Dana has checked in with us since our closing to make sure that our move went smoothly and everything was in place at the condo. Early this year my husband and I made the decision to purchase a condo in Chicago. After renting for many years, this would be our first home purchase. I worked with Dana a few years ago when I was searching for a new apartment in Chicago. She was so accommodating and easy to work with during that process that I gladly reached out to her in December 2007 just to let her know we were going to start 'looking' to buy a home in the spring of 2008. Over the next few months, we communicated a few times while she waited for us to decide we were ready. What I appreciated most was she was not pushy at all. And when my husband and I finally decided to do our research and get the process going in March of 2008, Dana explained what we needed to do before looking at properties. She gave us referrals to a number of mortgage bankers to find out what we could afford and what to expect given our budget and required amenities. As first time homebuyers, Dana made the process so easy and walked us through step by step. We really felt she had our best interests at heart. When we started to look at properties, Dana was fantastic, allowing us to choose days and times that worked best for us to view properties. She coordinated all the visits, did not give her opinion until we shared ours and quickly understood what we were looking for in our first condo. For example, Dana knew us well enough to suggest looking at an additional property one day after our original search turned up no results. Although it was in a different neighborhood, she thought we would like the layout and interior and she wanted to make sure she understood exactly what we were looking for - and it was a perfect property! She was able to find exactly what we wanted and proved to us it did exist in the city, even though this was not in the right area. She gave us confidence that she knew what we were looking for and would find it! Soon after, we found the condo we eventually purchased. During negotiations, Dana always had our best interests in mind. Although the asking price was high, she would not allow us to make an offer that was over market value. The owner kept trying to argue for the list price and Dana provided him with facts - data about recent home purchases and also mentioning that he had an offer on the table at a time when people are struggling to get financing. Knowing how much we loved the place, Dana continued to work the seller down to our price point, and one week later she called us to say he had accepted! Without Dana, we would have either caved in to the higher price or walked away from the home which we love so much. We are now in the home we love because of her! We will work with Dana again in the future and have already recommended her to our friends.
